(Click on photo to enlarge.)The East Los Angeles Planing Commission will hear the appeal filed by the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy of the approval of the Site Plan Review of the 120 condo units approved for the Menlo Property and Zone Variance for the existing Sam Menlo-owned, 157 unit River Glen Apartments. While City Council's PLUM Committee denied the appeal on the Vesting Tentative Tract, there is still the opportunity for the Planning Commission to make changes to the site plan to accommodate a trail easement per the Community Plan.
