Photo: Diane Edwardson, September 15, 2015. Tuesday morning, I immediately noticed the 4th flight of stairs from the top of the hill. The curb has shifted outwardly toward the bamboo. While it's been bad for a while, there's more of an angle to it now. The stairs on that flight also feel like they've dipped slightly to the south.
There's been subsidence on some of the upper flights near the construction site, first noticeable after the July inch of rain; really noticeable after the 3" we had Tuesday.
If you walk or run the stairs regularly - you'll notice it. Step carefully. A couple of the flights are off-kilter now. It's going to be a long rainy season.
