Red Car Property: Not A Park, It Just Looks Like One

Photo: Diane Edwardson, March 30, 2015.  The sun is frying the north end of the Red Car Property faster than usual, since drought and disease killed more than a dozen large eucalyptus that provided shade.  (Click on photo to enlarge.)

However, the protected native  California Black Walnut Trees are doing quite well with the nearly 10" of rain we got this winter.  (They are the super green trees in this photo.)
