Corralitas Drive: Dinner

Photo: Diane Edwardson, February 23, 2012, 5:45 PM.  In the waning light, while driving up Corralitas Drive, I noticed a big Red Tailed Hawk having dinner atop one its favorite dining perches: the telephone pole below the last log cabin, next to the 2 Freeway.  (Click on photos to enlarge.)

Around 1PM yesterday, a neighbor and I witnessed one of the hawks flying past our backyards with a long stick in its talons.  It was destined for the nest at Allesandro & Rosebud
