(Click on photo to enlarge.)It's bad news for the community when a development plan calls for massive cut & fill development requiring giant retaining walls. The Red Car Property neighborhood has a long history of failed development.
The City is revising its retaining wall ordinance and holding a series of community meetings to solicit community input on retaining wall issues. While City Planning says everyone is welcome, be prepared to see lots of developer's consultants using city planning jargon and intimidating neighbors who have to live with their clients' future failed developments.
