Red Car Property: Butterfly, Not A Moth

Photo: Diane Edwardson, June 12, 2015  Skippers are small, not so pretty, common butterflies, but they are pollinators.  There are dozens of species of Skippers in Los Angeles County.  This is most likely a Fiery Skipper, one of the most common in the area, seen here on the north end of the Red Car Property.
