Red Car Canyon: Lizard Standoff Interrupted

Photo: Diane Edwardson, June 12, 2014.  Two (most likely male) lizards were posturing &  doing push-ups at one another on the well-tagged tree stump at the mouth of Red Car Canyon.  A squirrel alerted them to a nearby predator, breaking up the show of testosterone.  The arrow is pointing to the second lizard.  (Click on photo to enlarge.)
