If you witness dumping, take note of the make, model, color, license plate of the vehicle and persons involved. Or if you can do so safely, take a photo with your cell phone - it's the easiest way to record date & time along with pertinent info. Call 1-877-ASK-LAPD while it is happening. If you see someone dumping potentially hazardous material like chemicals or oil drums, call 911.
Don't dump your crap illegally. Request bulky item pick-up via the City's MyLA311 smartphone app or on the City's website, or by dialing 311.
