Photo: Diane Edwardson, August 18, 2013. While shooting cloud photos yesterday, several gigantic pigeons flapped loudly through the trees. These native pigeons are at least three times the size of a standard pigeon. There have been a lot Band-tailed Pigeons around Corralitas and the Red Car Property lately. I'm not exaggerating when I say they flap loudly. They definitely catch your attention.
