No word if ice was a factor in the early morning big rig crash that closed the 5 Freeway at the 2 Freeway from 3:30 AM for 5 hours. (There's a reason Riverside Drive is a designated secondary highway.)
Freezing temperatures in the early morning hours make for slick patches of sidewalks and roadways - so step carefully and slow down while driving! This is not typical Los Angeles winter weather. Can snow be far behind?
