When I sit on the Planning Commission, no discretionary action will be approved without undergrounding utility lines & providing ample space designed to contain trashcans off the street and out of the driveway (among many other mitigations). But that's just another reason why I'll never be named to the Planning Commission.
NOTE: The log cabins were built prior to the Hillside Ordinance, the advent of curbside recycling and the giant 3 trash bins per dwelling unit. I just get pissed off when power lines and trashcans ruin a lovely photograph.
