Last week, DWP informed neighbors that they would be digging up the street at Rosebud Ave & Allesandro St (above) to lay water lines for the controversial 16-lot subdivision in the Semi Tropic Spiritualists' Tract.
As I turned left onto Allesandro from Rosebud, a LAPD cruiser stopped in the middle of Allesandro. The officers seemed equally amazed by the City crew blocking the only means of access for the entire hillside above. When I returned 10 minutes later, the crew had repositioned the vehicles allowing access to and from the hill and continued working.
