Corralitas Drive: Flock Of Unusual Birds *Identified

Photo: Diane Edwardson, March 31, 2012.  As I was heading out the back door (with a camera in my pocket), a flock of birds was making quite a racket in one of the Peruvian Pepper Trees.  (Click on photos to enlarge.)

If you can identify these birds, send us an email: redcarproperty@gmail.com.

*UPDATE 3:18 PM: Special thanks go (once again) to fellow Silver Lake blogger, Will Campbell for identifying this photogenic flock as Cedar Waxwings, "During its berry phase in February our camphor laurel tree gets swarmed by them. I call them 'bandits' because of their masks."
