Since moving a hundred feet up the street, I've had trouble finding a good location for my rain gauge. Too many trees are blocking a clear rain catch. Today's rain says to me, I need to find another location for the gauge. There's no way we only had 0.7" of rain today. Pasadena got 1.15". We're usually on par with Pasadena.
Possibly under-counted rainfall totals collected on Corralitas Drive:
January 23, 2012: 0.7"
Season to date: 7.2"
