Red Car Property: Unwelcome Wildlife, Parties & Car Break-in

Photo: Diane Edwardson, June 18, 2011.  Last weekend, beer bottles, cans and condoms littered the entire Red Car Property from Corralitas to Fletcher.  (Click on photo to enlarge.)

Is there any wonder neighbors resort to defensive landscaping

On a serious note, there was a car burglary reported on the paper street of Silver Lake Court on June 19, 2011.  Chances are, it was not Silver Lake Court but the Red Car Property.  There was evidence of a smashed car window on the Red Car Property south of the Silver Lake Ave. Public Staircase

Neighbors reported an abandoned maroon SUV to LAPD Senior Lead Officer Al Polehonki, a week before it was reported stolen.  It was abandoned on the Red Car Property close to Rose Scharlin Nursery School.  The SUV was towed by the LAPD on Thursday, June 22.

Neighbors should be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the LAPD immediately.  Look out for your neighbors and investigate any scent of fire as the 4th of July is coming and there are always illegal fireworks in the area.
