According to the LAPD crime maps posted on the LA Times website, most of the crime is taking place near Sunset Blvd. However, there have been a few vehicle related crimes on Lake View including a Grand Theft Auto followed by a residential burglary in the past week in the 2600 block of Lake View Ave. (Waverly has been hit with vehicle and residential burglaries too.)
If you don't know your neighbors, now is a good time to chat them up and keep a watchful eye on the neighborhood.
