Neighbors off Red Car Canyon report noisy coyote activity on Thursday, around 2:30 AM. There's been evidence of coyote predation in canyon area for the past few months. A dog was killed in October when it surprised a coyote around 4 PM.
If you don't want your small animals to become a part of the food chain, keep them indoors or on a leash.
