(Click on photo to enlarge.)The property we now refer to as the Menlo Property was once linked to the Red Car Property by a huge viaduct for the Glendale Line of the Pacific Electric Red Car Trolley. The viaduct footings on the Red Car Property side were declared a historic landmark by the City of Los Angeles in 2003.
The viaduct footings north of Fletcher were recently uncovered by tree eradication on the DWP property.
The Menlo Property goes to a public hearing tomorrow, January 6.
