Red Car Property: A Murder Of Crows

Photo: Diane Edwardson, February 28, 2012.  Birds were active all over the neighborhood Tuesday.  A murder of Crows was calling & flocking about the Red Car Property before settling briefly in the dead Eucalyptus off the Roselin Public Staircase, above the Red Car Property.  (Click on photo to enlarge.)

No, I cannot confirm if these birds are Crows or Ravens.  According to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, Crows are social birds and tend to hang out in larger groups.  Ravens are massive birds, seen alone or in pairs.
