Corralitas Public Staircase: Non-Native, Invasive, Toxic Castor Beans Blooming

Photo: Diane Edwardson, April 29, 2010. The Castor Beans are blooming at the 3rd flight of stairs. (Click on photo to enlarge.)

Castor Beans are so destructive, years ago, one plant initially broke apart the side of the Corralitas Public Staircase from the steps, just behind this plant. The staircase has since shifted because of the Pits of Doom.

For more on Castor Beans and their invasive and toxic ways, see this earlier post.
