Big Parade LA: May 2 & 3, 2015
A Look Back On The First Big Parade

Photo: Diane Edwardson, July 18, 2009.  We've been proud to be a part of The Big Parade LA, every year since its inception, 7 years ago.  More than 60 intrepid urban hikers scaled the Corralitas Public Staircase on Day 1, in mid-July heat and humidity.  (Click on photos to enlarge.)

2015's epic urban hike, The Big Parade LA features 32 miles, fewer staircases (only 86) and more flat stretches. Route maps & everything you need to know is posted on their website: http://bigparadela.tumblr.com/

Friday May 1 is a Bob Inman led prologue hike including  Griffith Park, LA River & Atwater.

The Big Parade will travel the Red Car Property Day 2.  Follow their progress on Twitter @BigParadeLAJoin for a few staircases, couple of miles or 2 days.
