Corralitas Drive: Another Random Fungus

Photo: Diane Edwardson, October 24, 2014.  a patch of pale yellow fungus sprouted seemingly overnight from the dead Eucalyptus tree trunk in the backyard.  The largest was about 5" in diameter.  It might be Chicken of the Woods ( Poplypore species) as they grow almost exclusively in Eucalyptus.  However these mushrooms never got any larger.
