The Fire Department is calling a Red Flag No Parking Alert for the first time in almost 3 years (the last one was in January 2009). Starting at 8AM, November 2, 2011, many neighborhood streets will be under Red Flag Day Parking Restrictions.
See: http://lafd.org/redflag/ for details and to sign up to get Red Flag Alerts directly from the LAFD.
Read more about why we have Red Flag parking restrictions in a post from Sept 26, 2010.
