Corralitas Drive: Great Horned Owl At Twilight

Photo: Diane Edwardson, October 30, 2011, 6:34 PM.  I could see the ear tufts indicating it was a Great Horned Owl, but they didn't read in the waning light shot with a handheld point & shoot camera.  This time of year, you can hear their calls at night. 
Photo: Diane Edwardson, October 30, 2011, 6:34 PM.  The moon was grinning like the Cheshire Cat, while the owl was looking for tasty rats.  After cooperating for a few frames, the owl flew to the top of a neighbor's Eucalyptus Tree.
