Over the next two weeks, in support of the 2-day, 100+ public staircase hike, The Big Parade II, we'll be taking a closer look at the Corralitas Red Car Neighborhood's many public staircases. You'll notice a wide discrepancy in the maintenance of the various public staircases.
The Silver Lake Ave. Public Staircase linked the neighborhood with the India Street Red Car Trolley stop. Today, it continues to serve as a link between Silver Ridge Ave., Lake View Ave., the Red Car Property, Riverside Place and Allesandro Elementary School.
