Photo: Diane Edwardson, December 17, 2009. City Bureau of Street Services got a workout today repairing the 3rd landing on Corralitas Public Staircase. (Click on photo to enlarge.) This morning, to my surprise, I ran into a City crew repairing the Corralitas Public Staircase. Unfortunately, they were only repairing broken concrete on the 3rd landing, and not the side of the public staircase that's crumbling into the Corralitas Pits of Doom. (Perhaps the City considered the liability risk if someone tripped on the broken landing and fell into the Pits of Doom.)
